Writing Advising

Writing Advising

The Departmental Writing Fellow (DWF) provides writing support for the Department’s undergraduate curriculum, working closely with the sophomore tutorial and senior thesis courses. The DWF offers discipline-specific writing advice, such as how to navigate the conventions of writing in psychology, as well as more general writing help. The DWF can provide support for all steps of the writing process, including brainstorming and formulating arguments, organizing thoughts and developing paper structure, and proofreading and editing drafts.

Siobhan Greatorex-Voith, Departmental Writing Fellow (2026-2027)

Siobhan Greatorex-Voith is a PhD Candidate in Sociology whose research examines the social determinants of psychosocial stressors and depression. She has taught and advised students in both the Psychology and Sociology departments and enjoys helping students develop clear, compelling academic writing. She looks forward to working with students at every stage of the writing process, from developing ideas to polishing final drafts.
